Guest Posting Guidelines: Write for The Roaming Rosses
We’re always super down to feature fresh voices, unique perspectives, and valuable insights from fellow travelers, remote workers, or others who have made the leap and relocated. If you have a story, guide, or expert advice that aligns with our mission—helping first-time digital nomads and budget travelers create a life of freedom—we’d love to hear from you!
Before you submit your pitch, please review the following guidelines to ensure your post is a great fit for our audience.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Topics We Love:
We accept well-researched, engaging, and informative posts that fall into one (or more) of these categories:
- Digital Nomad Life – Remote work tips, coworking insights, productivity hacks, and work-life balance strategies.
- Relocation & Expat Guides – Visa advice, budgeting, cultural adaptation, and finding housing abroad.
- Budget Travel Tips – How to stretch your money, affordable destinations, and travel hacks.
- First-Time Nomad Experiences – Personal stories, challenges, and lessons learned on the road.
- Sustainable & Ethical Travel – Eco-friendly travel, responsible tourism, and supporting local communities.
✅ High-Quality, Original Content:
- Your post must be 100% original and not published anywhere else.
- We don’t care about AI-generated, we just want real, firsthand experiences and insights!
- Articles should be well-structured, easy to read, and free from grammatical errors.
✅ Engaging, Actionable Writing:
- Use short paragraphs, subheadings, and bullet points for readability.
- Provide real-world examples, actionable advice, or personal experiences to add value.
- Keep the tone friendly, informative, and encouraging—we aim to inspire, not intimidate!
✅ SEO Best Practices:
- Use clear, keyword-rich headlines (but avoid clickbait).
- Include at least one internal link to a relevant post on our site.
- If you include sources, cite them properly (no outdated or unreliable sources).
What We Don’t Accept:
❌ Overly promotional or sales-driven content. We’re happy to include relevant links to your site, but the post must provide real value first.
❌ Thin, generic, or AI-generated content. If your post feels like something ChatGPT spit out in 30 seconds, it’s a no-go.
❌ Topics that don’t fit our niche. If your article isn’t about travel, remote work, or relocation, it won’t be a fit.
❌ Plagiarized or republished content. We check.
